AT the Cedar's Ball everyone is dancing. Jeffrey tells Jenna to smile she is supposed to be having the time of her life. She tells him she thinks his plan is crazy. She asks her what is wrong with her – she used to love a challenge. She says that the chances of pulling off their plan is slim to none because she knows practically everyone there. He says that is good because she won't be under suspicion. Alex brings Alan into the room in his wheelchair and Jenna runs out.

Dinah and Hart are sipping champagne and she is talking about what a wonderful party it is going to be.

Josh and Annie are dancing. He says, "I thought that you wanted to go home." She says "I can't think of being anywhere else at the moment."

Reva is outside with Fran. Reva asks Fran why Annie told her not to talk to her.

Josh and Annie are still dancing. Annie asks Josh to get her something to drink and runs off to look for Reva and Fran. Phillip stops her and tells her that she looks wonderful. He brings her out to the dance floor and starts dancing. She is looking frantically around the room.

Fran tells Reva that what she said is not true. Reva tells her that she heard she and Annie in the ladies room. She asks "why" again. Fran says that Annie is just scared because of the hold that Reva has over Josh. She says that Annie just loves her husband – there is nothing unusual about that, is there?

Jeffrey finds Jenna and asks her who she is trying to avoid. She says that she doesn't feel comfortable with Buzz or anyone in the room He says that maybe she is trying to hide from the Spauldings. She says that these people are not stupid – don't underestimate them. Jeffrey tells her to get to work. He asks Vivian Grant to dance with him and dances away. Buzz comes up behind Jenna and asks her to dance. She tells him maybe later. She walks away and runs into Dinah and Hart. She tells him that he is looking wonderful. She walks away. Dinah asks him who that was. He says that she is no one special, just a friend of his father.

Meta, Rick and Abby are talking. Meta says that Bert would be thrilled to see that the hospital that she loved is still going strong and that her grandson is very much a part of its future. Rick says that he is glad that Meta is a part of their future. Abby agrees. Meta says that she is very glad to be back. Ross and Blake join the other three.

Mike Bauer walks in with Alan-Michael and Lucy. Mike says that he received a very mysterious letter in the mail asking him to stand in for Ed at the party. Rick asks Meta if it came from her. She says yes. Introductions are made all around. Mike asks where Michelle is. Rick says that she disappeared as soon as they got to the party.

Zachary is at the lighthouse. Michelle comes in. She asks why he didn't wait for her at the hospital. He says that he knew that she would be okay when she was with her brother. She says that Rick was upset with them because they tried to run away together but he doesn't understand how much they love each other. Zachary tells her that he was wrong to run away with her. She disagrees. She says that if it hadn't been for the snow storm they would be long gone. He says that everything happens for a reason. That was their sign. He says he was wrong to think that they could have a future together, he was wrong. Michelle tells him that they were meant to be together.

Reva and Fran are still talking on the terrace and Fran tries to excuse herself. Reva says that Fran seems to care for Annie. Fran says that yes they were in nursing school together. Reva asks her to tell Annie that she doesn't have the kind of power over Josh that Annie thinks she does. Josh is his own man. Reva says that she doesn't want Annie to have to worry about her after everything she has been through.

Jeffrey is dancing with Alex and talking casually. Jeffrey asks her why a beautiful woman such as herself is wearing rhinestones instead of the real thing. Alex tells him that she is still nervous after one of her favorite pieces was stolen last year.

Harley enters the Ball and hugs Lucy. Buzz says that finally his two daughters meet. She apologizes that she couldn't make the wedding. Lucy says she understands with everything that happened with Nadine and all. She says that Nadine felt like her mother, too. They hug. Harley sees Josh and smiles.

Fran walks in. Phillip says that he has been looking for her. Annie asks him to get her a cold drink. She grabs Fran's hand and asks her what she said to Reva. They talk about what was said. Fran tells Annie that Reva was in the bathroom while they were talking. Annie is shocked and scared.

Zachary says that Michelle doesn't know him at all. He is not the guy she thinks he is. Zachary says that he is completely finished with everything at the lighthouse, except the light. When he gets that working he has to leave. She says that she doesn't want him to go. He says he was wrong to tell her that he loves her. He tells her that it is over. She runs out.

At the Ball Bridget is trying to get in. She tells the Maitre D that she lost her invitation. He is telling her that she can't come in. She asks him to check the list. Nola and Quint come in and hand him Bridget's invitation and tell him that Bridget is with them. Nola asks her why she didn't wait for them – did she come early to spy on Dinah and Hart? Bridget makes a nasty remark to her. Quint tells them to please stop arguing. He is going to have a good time, the new wing of the hospital is going to be named after Vanessa and he wants to make her proud of them. He escorts them into the room.

Josh and Harley are on the terrace. Harley says that it is amazing about Reva being alive. Harley says that it is also amazing that Reva married her father. She asks why Josh and Reva aren't together now, considering that Reva broke Buzz's heart because she is still in love with Josh. Josh asks her if that is what she heard. Harley says that she just figured it out. Josh said that he was sorry that he hurt her. She corrects him and said that he broke her heart, but Mallet fixed it. She says that since Reva broke Buzz's heart, he needs to get on with his life. She asks again why Josh and Reva aren't together. Josh says it is complicated. He tells her Annie is pregnant. He can't walk away from Annie now that she is pregnant. She tells him that he is really a good guy and always tries to do the right thing. But, she says that he isn't doing Annie any favors by staying with her when he loves another person. He tells her that she sounds like his brother Billy. She says she doesn't mean to, and she isn't going to tell him what to do, but she cares for him as a friend. She tells him to not lose what is really in his heart.

Annie and Rick are talking. He tells her that he has something to give her. He hands her a package. It is a comb for her hair – a family heirloom that belonged to Bert. He says that it is only his under the condition that she give it to someone special. They kiss.

Annie walks through the ballroom and grabs Reva's arm and pulls her to the other side of the room. Josh walks up and asks what is going on. Annie says that she has tried so hard to take care of herself and the baby and now this has happened. Josh asks what has happened. Reva says that she doesn't know what Annie talking about. Annie tells Reva that she knows what she is doing behind her back. Reva and Josh looked stunned.

Reva says that she was talking to Fran about why Annie was talking to Fran about her. Annie is noticeably upset and says that maybe she made a mistake because her hormones are all messed up because she is carrying Josh's baby, but she thought they could come there and have a good time. Josh asks Reva if this can wait until later, he doesn't want to upset Annie. Reva gives Josh a dirty look and says, "of course you don't -- we don't want to do anything to upset Annie." She excuses herself. Annie tells Josh she is sorry and cries on his shoulder.

Lillian introduces Mike Bauer to the Grants. Mike says that he hears that Charles is doing a wonderful job as chief of staff. Charles says that the Spauldings may support the hospital financially, but the Bauers are the ones who have made it a great hospital. He says he is not surprised if Rick doesn't take over for him when he retires.

Griffin walks in and sees Marcus and Dahlia. They talk briefly. Griffin greets Fletcher and Holly. Fletcher asks Griffin if he would like to have a column in the Journal. They said that the paper needs a strong minority voice and Griffin is the right one. He refuses. Fletcher asks him to think about it.

Marcus and Dahlia and Dinah and Hart are talking casually. Marcus is teasing Dinah about drinking too much. She says that he sounds like Hart. Marcus and Dahlia leave and Hart and Dinah dance. She is acting silly and laughing. Hart tells her to stop it because people are watching. She says she doesn't care what these people think. She says that she is going to leave so he can find someone who doesn't embarrass him. She walks off the dance floor.

Buzz walks up behind Jenna and asks her if she is ever going to dance with him. She is startled. He asks her if she is afraid that if she is dances with him it will aggravate "Mr. Jenna Bradshaw. Jenna says that Jeffrey wouldn't like being called that. He asks her to save him a dance. Alex walks up and sees Jenna. She asks her if Alan knows she is there. Alan comes up in his wheelchair and says that he knows now. They talk for a second. Jenna says that she is ready to dance with Buzz. Alan says that the last time he saw Jenna she had quite a problem. She says that Alan is quite right that the two of them have quite a lot to talk about. Buzz and Alex leave to dance.

Alan asks her why she didn't want Buzz to hear him. He reminds her that when she left two years' ago that she was pregnant with Buzz's child. He asks what happened to the child.

Roger and Amanda are leaving and he stops to look at Jenna. She asks if he knows her. He says that he used to. She asks him if he wants to talk with her. He says maybe later. She suggests that they leave to "go fishing" indicating going to look for Alex's papers.

Dinah's friends are looking at her down on the dance floor. Jean Luc says that she is so beautiful, he was a stupid man when he let her go. He walks down to talk to Dinah and stops to whisper something to the Maitre D. The band starts playing a Tango. Dinah says that this is the music he taught her to Tango to. He asks her to dance with him. They walk out to the dance floor and start to Tango all over the floor. Hart is talking to Bridget and stops to watch.

Michelle tells Zachary that she is not going to let him throw away something so good. He says that you can't make something happen that is not meant to be. She asks him why he insists on saying that they are not meant to be. He says what he is saying now is true. He is leaving and he knew going into the relationship that it wouldn't last. They argue about his feelings. He says that he has to go. She says that she loves him. He tells her that he is sorry and asks her to go. He kisses her. They hear a noise. It is a distress signal from a boat. He says someone needs help.

Jenna and Alan are talking. She asks him not to say anything about her being pregnant. She tells him she lost the baby.

Frank asks Harley what she is doing there. He says that she is working. She says that she is working to have a good time. He says that he thinks that she is really working. He says that he has been watching her size up the crowd. He asks her if she is still a cop. He asks her what she is doing there besides paying her family an overdue visit. She says that she works for an insurance company as an investigator. She says that she is there to catch a thief.

Jean Luc and Dinah are still doing the Tango. Hart is watching.

Reva approaches Billy and asks him to help her give the locals something to "yokel about. Billy says that he was wondering when the real Reva was going to show up. They begin to vigorously Tango rivaling Jean Luc and Dinah. Josh and Annie are watching.

At the Cedar's Ball Reva and Billy and Jean Luc and Dinah are doing the Tango. Both couples are dancing all over the floor very suggestively. Everyone is standing back and watching them. Billy asks Reva if she isn't dancing with the wrong Lewis. She says that he is dancing with the woman he wants to for the evening why shouldn't she dance with his brother. They continue dancing while Josh and Annie look on.

Roger and Amanda are at the Spaulding mansion to look for Alex's papers. Roger says that the papers, if they find them, can topple the Spaulding empire. They are in Alex's bedroom. Roger tells her that her mission is to search and destroy. Amanda asks why they are starting in the bedroom. He says that the bedroom is usually where a woman hides her most treasured possession. They are looking around the bedroom and talking.

Back to the Ball ...Reva and Billy and Dinah and Jean Luc are still dancing. Everyone is watching and making comments.

As Jean Luc dips Dinah, Marcus asks her if she hasn't had enough to drink. She says that she has just begun.

Abby tells Rick that she can't believe that Reva is acting like this. He says that she is like this all the time – it has just been awhile.

Josh shakes his head and says to himself "what the hell are you doing Reva."

Bridget tells Nola to look at Dinah – she is making a fool of herself. She says that Dinah is self destructing before their very eyes.

The dance is over and Jean Luc grabs Dinah and swings her around. When he sits her down she almost falls. Hart starts to walk over to help her. Jean Luc swings her around away from Hart. Hart walks away.

Reva asks Billy if Josh was watching. He asks her if that was the purpose of this whole thing. She says it was. He tells her that he is tired and he is going to sit this one out. She says she is going to have to find another dance partner, isn't she? She grabs Griffin and pulls him on the dance floor.

Josh is watching Reva. He starts to walk over to her. Annie sees this and pretends to faint. He grabs her.

Zachary and Michelle are at the lighthouse and hear someone is in distress. Zachary says that he has to get the light working. Michelle says she wants to help. He tells her to try to make radio contact with the coast guard.

Jenna is on the terrace and sees Buzz standing there by himself. She asks him to go inside where it is warm so they can talk. He asks her what there is to say. Jenna asks if Buzz still cares for Reva. She says she doesn't blame him, Reva certainly knows how to command a room. He says that it is harder to get over than he thought it would be. Jenna thanks him for not lying to her. She says that it wouldn't have done any good anyway – she could tell by the way he looked at her. Jeffrey comes outside to get Jenna. He says that he hopes he hasn't forgot the promise she made to him to save the last dance for him. She says no, she hasn't forgotten. They go inside. Buzz is left alone on the terrace.

Back inside, the dancers are doing the Macarena. Reva is right in the middle with Billy. Harley is complaining to Frank that Reva is showing off. She is going to hurt Buzz. Frank tells her not to pull a "Harley" on him. Don't make a scene. She says that there is no way she is going to blow her cover for Reva, no matter how much she is ticking her off. She tells him that the insurance company she works for covers half the women at the party. She says that there has been a rash of jewel thefts the last year or two and it is her job to make sure there aren't any more. Frank tells her that this is his town and his precinct and she is to tell him if she notices anything suspicious. She agrees. She also tells him that he can stop giving her advice about Reva, it is there father they are talking about. Buzz is sitting alone on the Terrace.

Reva and Billy are still dancing. Lillian walks through the crowd and talks to Rick. Rick and Mike Bauer follow her back through the crown past Reva. Reva says that she didn't know the music had stopped, where was everyone going. Billy says that he thinks something is going on.

Josh is sitting on the steps with Annie in his arms. He is patting her cheek trying to wake her up. He succeeds and she asks what happened. He tells her. Rick, Mike Bauer, Charles Grant, and Lillian approach. They tell her that she has to be careful with fainting spells. She needs to take care of herself.

Reva and Billy are watching. Reva says that Annie has half of Cedar's medical staff in attendance. With that crack medical team – they could put Humpty Dumpty together again, couldn't they? She is fine, Reva says. She says that she is going to go powder her nose and when she comes back he better be ready to rock and roll.

Reva is in the bathroom. Harley enters. Harley tells her that Reva has hurt her father terribly. She closes and locks the door and tells Reva that no one is coming in until she tells Reva just what she thinks of her. She says that she has only been there 24 hours and already Reva's name is everywhere. She says that Reva hasn't changed a bit – she is still haunting the men she's loved so they can't get on with their lives. Reva tells her that the last few years have been hard for her – being dead isn't as relaxing as it sounds. Harley says she doesn't care. Reva says that Harley used to care. She took care of her babies and Josh when she got sick. Harley says that isn't the point, they are talking about her father. She says Reva can't continue to hurt her father and get away with it. Josh and Annie are sitting at the table. He puts his coat over her. He leaves the table. Phillip approaches and tells Josh that Reva went to the powder room. Josh says that he is going to get his wife a glass of water. Phillip asks Annie how she is doing and then goes to the family table.

Alan-Michael tells Alan that now that Phillip is there, what does he want. Alan says that they have to put their heads together about Roger and Amanda. Alan-Michael says that he is not ready for war. He says that he is not in it. He and Lucy leave the table.

Roger and Amanda are searching Alex's bedroom. The maid comes in to bring towels. Roger and Amanda hide in the closet.

Michelle tells Zachary that the radio won't work. He tells her that he is going out in his boat to save the people. He tells her to get Rick and everybody she can find to help. He tells her to have Rick get the light working. He leaves.

Jeffrey asks Meta to dance. Jenna approaches Blake and Ross and Holly and Fletcher. She speaks to them briefly. After she walks away Ross observed that she had on a very expensive necklace. She didn't have that kind of money when she left town, did she? They speculate she must have landed on her feet.

Alan tells Alan-Michael to sit down. He says you can't be President of Spaulding and keep your hands clean. Alan-Michael says that he always thought that you could do that if you didn't wallow in the mud with the wrong people. Alan says Roger and Amanda will steal them blind if they don't watch it. Alan-Michael tells them that he and Lucy are planning to leave Springfield. He then takes Lucy to the dance floor to dance. Alan tells Phillip to do something. Phillip answers that it is probably the smartest thing Alan-Michael has done in his life.

Reva and Harley are still arguing. Reva says that she knows that Josh left Harley to look for Reva. Reva says that she understands why Harley is mad. She tells her that her mamma told her all about how Harley took care of Josh and the children after she "died." She said that she knows that Billy came along and told Josh he had seen Reva and Josh took off to find her. Reva tells her that Harley can hate her for that, but she didn't make Josh leave. Reva reminds Harley has found the love of her life. She says that she and Buzz weren't that lucky. Reva says that she didn't leave Buzz because she wanted to run back to Josh, she left him because she respects him too much to make a fool of him. She didn't want to hurt him anymore. Harley asks about Josh and Annie. Reva says that what happens with their marriage is beyond her control. She admits that she still loves him, and that it tears her apart to see him with Annie. Harley tells her that the old Reva would have gone after whatever she wanted. Reva says she hopes she is not that selfish anymore. She tells her that she walked away from a very loving man; and, no matter what Harley thinks about her she is not about to mess up the life of some man whose wife is about to have a baby.

Josh brings Annie water. Annie says that she is embarrassed. Josh tells her that she has to start taking care of herself. She says that she will. She asks him to dance with her.

Dinah and Hart are arguing on the Terrace. He tells her that she is making a spectacle of herself. He says that he was happy when it was the two of them by themselves. She says that he promised to give her lifestyle a chance. She says that he just wants to keep her on the farm. She accuses him of being a control freak like his father.

Roger and Amanda are still in the closet until the maid leaves. Roger says they are going about this all wrong. He says that maybe Amanda should tell him what she thinks they should do.

Alex is talking to Matt and telling him that there is no finer tribute to Vanessa than to dedicate the new wing of the hospital to her memory. Matt tells her that the family is very proud. Alex says that family is a very important thing. She is telling him how the dedication ceremony will go. She says that she will present the check to him for the new wing and asks him to say a few words.

Matt runs into Buzz. Buzz hands him a drink. Matt asks him what you can say when you've lost the woman that you love? Buzz tells him that there is nothing you can say, no one will understand anyway.

Everybody is enjoying the dance. Alan tells Alex he is ready to go home. She says that they can't leave until the dedication ceremony is over.

Bridget asks Marcus if he has seen Hart. They look around for him. Dinah walks in and proclaims to everyone in a very loud voice that Hart Jessop is a big party pooper.

Michelle rushes in to get Rick. She says that there is a boat sinking and Zachary is out on the lake. She says they have to get to him or he could die. She looks at Rick and her eyes plead with him to help.

Annie walks through the ballroom and grabs Reva's arm and pulls her to the other side of the room. Josh walks up and asks what is going on. Annie says that she has tried so hard to take care of herself and the baby and now this has happened. Josh asks what has happened. Reva says that she doesn't know what Annie talking about. Annie tells Reva that she knows what she is doing behind her back. Reva and Josh looked stunned.

Reva says that she doesn't know what Annie is talking about. Annie says that Reva took Fran outside to talk about her, Reva is spreading gossip about her. Reva says that she was talking to Fran about why Annie was talking to Fran about her. Annie is noticeably upset and says that maybe she made a mistake because her hormones are all messed up because she is carrying Josh's baby, but she thought they could come there and have a good time. Josh asks Reva if this can wait until later, he doesn't want to upset Annie. Reva gives Josh a dirty look and says, "of course you don't -- we don't want to do anything to upset Annie." She excuses herself. Annie tells Josh she is sorry and cries on his shoulder.

Lillian introduces Mike Bauer to the Grants. Mike says that he hears that Charles is doing a wonderful job as chief of staff. Charles says that the Spauldings may support the hospital financially, but the Bauers are the ones who have made it a great hospital. He says he is not surprised if Rick doesn't take over for him when he retires.

Griffin walks in and sees Marcus and Dahlia. They talk briefly. Griffin greets Fletcher and Holly. Fletcher asks Griffin if he would like to have a column in the Journal. They said that the paper needs a strong minority voice and Griffin is the right one. He refuses. Fletcher asks him to think about it.

Marcus and Dahlia and Dinah and Hart are talking casually. Marcus is teasing Dinah about drinking too much. She says that he sounds like Hart. Marcus and Dahlia leave and Hart and Dinah dance. She is acting silly and laughing. Hart tells her to stop it because people are watching. She says she doesn't care what these people think. She says that she is going to leave so he can find someone who doesn't embarrass him. She walks off the dance floor.

Buzz walks up behind Jenna and asks her if she is ever going to dance with him. She is startled. He asks her if she is afraid that if she is dances with him it will aggravate "Mr. Jenna Bradshaw. Jenna says that Jeffrey wouldn't like being called that. He asks her to save him a dance. Alex walks up and sees Jenna. She asks her if Alan knows she is there. Alan comes up in his wheelchair and says that he knows now. They talk for a second. Jenna says that she is ready to dance with Buzz. Alan says that the last time he saw Jenna she had quite a problem. She says that Alan is quite right that the two of them have quite a lot to talk about. Buzz and Alex leave to dance.

Alan asks her why she didn't want Buzz to hear him. He reminds her that when she left two years' ago that she was pregnant with Buzz's child. He asks what happened to the child.

Roger and Amanda are leaving and he stops to look at Jenna. She asks if he knows her. He says that he used to. She asks him if he wants to talk with her. He says maybe later. She suggests that they leave to "go fishing" indicating going to look for Alex's papers.

Dinah's friends are looking at her down on the dance floor. Jean Luc says that she is so beautiful, he was a stupid man when he let her go. He walks down to talk to Dinah and stops to whisper something to the Maitre D. The band starts playing a Tango. Dinah says that this is the music he taught her to Tango to. He asks her to dance with him. They walk out to the dance floor and start to Tango all over the floor. Hart is talking to Bridget and stops to watch.

Michelle tells Zachary that she is not going to let him throw away something so good. He says that you can't make something happen that is not meant to be. She asks him why he insists on saying that they are not meant to be. He says what he is saying now is true. He is leaving and he knew going into the relationship that it wouldn't last. They argue about his feelings. He says that he has to go. She says that she loves him. He tells her that he is sorry and asks her to go. He kisses her. They hear a noise. It is a distress signal from a boat. He says someone needs help.

Jenna and Alan are talking. She asks him not to say anything about her being pregnant. She tells him she lost the baby.

Frank asks Harley what she is doing there. He says that she is working. She says that she is working to have a good time. He says that he thinks that she is really working. He says that he has been watching her size up the crowd. He asks her if she is still a cop. He asks her what she is doing there besides paying her family an overdue visit. She says that she works for an insurance company as an investigator. She says that she is there to catch a thief.

Jean Luc and Dinah are still doing the Tango. Hart is watching.

Reva approaches Billy and asks him to help her give the locals something to "yokel about. Billy says that he was wondering when the real Reva was going to show up. They begin to vigorously Tango rivaling Jean Luc and Dinah. Josh and Annie are watching.
