Camryn Grimes grew up before our eyes as Cassie Newman on The Young and the Restless. While Cassie was killed off when Grimes and the character were in their teens, she returned to the soap as an adult, playing Cassie's twin, Mariah. Both Mariah and Grimes became moms in 2023, and now Grimes's son has turned a half-year old.
To celebrate young Bridger's six-month birthday, Grimes took to Instagram to tell us all about her precious bundle of blue.
"You love music, being outside and looking at the tree, and pool time. Your dogs and cats fascinate you and you're desperate to interact with them, and the doodles desperate to sit on you," Grimes wrote, alongside a gorgeous snap of Bridger in a tummy time position. "Food is becoming increasingly interesting to you, your favorites are sweet potatoes, squash, asparagus, and apparently, your hand. Within the last week, seemingly overnight you've mastered rolling over and will do so on any surface, giving us the occasional heart attack.
"Your hair is still red, eyes have gone a bit green and your smile is ever present, now just accompanied by the single greatest laugh to hit the human ears. 6 months with 'the happiest baby I've ever seen' to quote the countless people who've encountered you. We hope to keep you that happy always, love you Bridger."
Bridger Elias Foster was born to Grimes and her fiancé, Brock Powell, on December 13, 2023, as an early Christmas surprise.
"Dad and I never liked waiting for Christmas either...Bridger Elias Foster. 12 o 13 o 23. Our little family's future is merry & bright," Grimes wrote upon introducing her newborn to the world.
Mariah also entered her mommy era last year when she and wife, Tessa, adopted a little girl they named Aria. Mariah had previously been pregnant when she carried little Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor as Abby Newman's surrogate.
