Jason Olive is one of the most photographed men in the world, and has even been named one of the hottest supermodels ever by YM magazine. He has modeled for (among others) London Fog, Armani, Versace, Calvin Klein, Yves Saint Laurent, Banana Republic, Levi's, Gap, Chloe, and Ralph Lauren.
Prior to joining Passions as private detective Frank Lomax, Jason appeared in small roles in Guiding Light (he played talent scout Sugar Hill, a role taken over in 1997 by Taye Diggs), and the A&E TV movie Spenser: Small Vices. Fans barely had a chance to enjoy Jason when he was let go, the reason being that his character (Frank) was shipped out of town to keep from telling Ivy the identity of the girl who had been "stalking" Ethan. After doing another movie and a TV mini-series, Jason again returned to daytime in the role of Dr. Frankie Hubbard on All My Children, but that role, as well, was short-lived.
Jason isn't just an actor. After going to the University of Hawaii on a volleyball scholarship, he was named a First Team All-American, and became the 33rd winner of the coveted Jack Bonham Award, which is given to a student who shows excellence in leadership, academic achievement, athletic prowess, and community service, and was also the university's first recipient of the Governor's Award for Academic Excellence.
One of Jason's greatest passions is poetry, and he has written a book of poetry entitled "Balancing the Limbo," in addition to winning numerous awards for his poetry. His other passions include his numerous charitable causes, including Dishes, Young Americans for Truth and Integrity, and Digs for Kids. He is also a strong supporter of the environment. His athletic interests include football, basketball, baseball, soccer, and golf.
