Melissa Fumero (nee Gallo) was born and raised in New Jersey, the daughter of Cuban-born parents who moved to the United States as teenagers. In December 2003, she received a BFA in Drama from New York University.
The role of OLTL's Adriana marked Melissa's first professional acting job. A dancer since childhood, she continued to take classes even as an adult when her schedule permitted.
In 2007, Melissa married fellow OLTL actor David Fumero.
Melissa is an avid reader and enjoys going to the theatre as much as possible.
