Taggert got the tape of Ida's confession from Gia. Scotty had Summer arrested. Summer was threatened by the Senator. Jax wanted Cameron to declare Brenda insane. Brenda was hypnotized to remember more detailed events on the night of Alcazar's murder. Sonny flew to South America to investigate Alcazar's associates. Sonny discovered a connection between Alcazar and Ric Lansing. Ric feared Brenda would remember him as the stranger on the staircase exiting Alcazar's apartment. Ned planned to sabotage Carly's new club. Carly was haunted by the story Katherine told of violence at the speakeasy in 1926. Carly slapped Alexis. Alexis was upset to learn Ned was dating Faith. Cameron revealed to Alexis that he is tied to someone in Port Charles. Coleman and Skye questioned Ida's suicide. Coleman warned Skye about trusting A.J.. A.J. hired a private investigator to follow Courtney. Elizabeth discovered Courtney and Jason's secret.
January 13 to 17, 2003
Tragic memories led Zander back to drugs and to trashing Carly's club. Cameron and Zander were revealed to be father and son. Faith plotted to sabotage Carly's club. Brenda remembered seeing Ric at Alcazar's compound in South America. An unconscious Brenda was found floating in the lake. Sonny ordered Ric to stay away from his family, especially Carly. Ric was interrogated regarding his involvement in the Alcazar murder. Maxie warned Georgie about pursuing Lucas. Alexis banned Ned from visiting Kristina. The Alcazar murder trial began.
January 20 to 24, 2003
Zander overdosed. Gia blasted Cameron for his rotten treatment of Zander. Nikolas was concerned about his future with Gia. Summer and Lucky grew closer together. Scott asked Summer out. Liz questioned Ric about his interest in Sonny. Ric received a tip regarding the real murderer. Ned and Faith slept together. Edward and Faith's partnership was revealed. Felicia investigated Coleman. Brenda and Jason stayed in Port Charles to prove their innocence. The Alcazar murder trial continued. Scott offered Brenda a deal. Alexis resigned from the case. Brenda testified. Jason and Brenda were found guilty of murder.

Courtney held A.J. at gunpoint. Skye tried to remember her actions on the night of Alcazar's murder. Brenda and Jason were sentenced to 22 years in prison. Jason and Sonny planned a prison escape. New evidence was entered into the record, freeing Jason and Brenda. Jason and Brenda headed to the Dominican Republic for an annulment of their marriage. Summer and Lucky grew closer. Summer welcomed Luke home. Luke and Cameron shared stories about fatherhood. Zander missed his first meeting with his new counselor. Alexis returned as attorney for Jason and Brenda. Alexis is not herself. Faith and Ned deepened their ties. Jax returned to town and defended Skye. Jax proposed to Brenda. Someone tried to shoot Sonny and Carly.

Jason and Brenda remained married. Jax continued planning his and Brenda's wedding. Skye decided to play damsel in distress to win Jax back. Cameron questioned Alexis' grieving process for her sister's death. Sonny took Carly on a surprise vacation. Zander planted drugs in Carly's speakeasy. Sonny found out about Courtney and Jason's relationship. Elizabeth's jealousy over Courtney and Jason grew. Gia and Nikolas fought over her closeness to Zander. Luke and Lucky each continued growing closer to Summer.

Carly told Sonny he might be wrong about Courtney and Jason. Jax suggested Carly keep Sonny away from his wedding to Brenda. Carly spotted Sonny and Brenda in a kiss. Carly was drugged by one of Faith's underlings. Jason warned Faith about making moves on Sonny. Luke was angry when Summer showed affection toward Lulu. Skye thought Alexis might be the murderer. Alexis revealed Kristina in her psyche.
February 17 to 21, 2003
Jax and Jason offered Brenda financial support. Carly told Sonny he was wrong about Jason and Courtney. Carly woke up in bed with Ric. Elizabeth discovered Ric had a gun. Courtney was kidnapped. Faith and Coleman schemed to use Courtney against Sonny. Skye manipulated Jax. Taggert and Scott realized that Alexis had killed Alcazar. Cameron planned to have Alexis committed to the mental hospital.
February 24 to 28, 2003
Alexis said goodbye to baby Kristina, just before she was admitted to the psych ward of the hospital. Cameron tried to catch Alexis' alter on tape. Sonny found Courtney and Jason at the Cabin. Carly defended Jason and Courtney's relationship to Sonny. Jason provoked a fight with Faith's henchman, Fowler. Jason is arrested again. Ric blackmailed Carly. Ric apologized to Elizabeth for scaring her. Lucky learned about Luke and Summer. Luke learned about Lucky and Summer. Summer realized Lucky and Luke were father and son.

Luke learned Nikolas was making medical decisions for Laura. Luke let Summer down easy. Summer asked Lucky to give her another chance. Nikolas offered Summer money to stay away from Lucky. Edward loaned Faith a million dollars. Faith killed her grandmother, and set her plan to have Sonny assassinated into motion. Carly and Sonny learned she is pregnant. Ric learned Carly is pregnant. Sonny and Jason argued about Courtney. Sonny fired Jason. Skye found Jax with a high priced call girl. Cameron realized Alexis is faking her split personality in order to plead insanity for killing Alcazar.
March 10 to 14, 2003
Ric was shot instead of Sonny. Carly warned Courtney that Ric is not what he seems to be. Ric met with Faith stating he wanted Sonny to suffer. Faith poisoned the woman she hired to make the hit on Sonny. Edward prepared a room for baby Kristina at the mansion. With Cameron's help, Alexis snuck out of the hospital to see baby Kristina. Alexis' trial began. Zander refused to help gather evidence against Alexis. Georgie and Maxie fought about boys. Lucas let Georgie down easy.
March 17 to 21, 2003
Benny's memorial services were held. Carly told Courtney about her one night with Ric. A regretful Ric slept with Elizabeth. Sonny ordered Ric to shoot Faith. A verdict was reached in Alexis' murder trial. Ned was awarded custody of Kristina. It was revealed that Summer has been working for Nikolas. Nikolas promised to tell Summer where brother is if she continued with their plan. Ned broke off his partnership with Faith. Mike begged Courtney to break it off with Jason.
March 24 to 28, 2003
Ned was ticketed for public indecency. A.J. set the gate house on fire. Zander saved Ned from the fire. Edward was awarded custody of baby Kristina. Sonny put Ric on retainer. Sonny begged Courtney to leave Jason to save Carly and the baby. Sonny threatened Jax with a broken bottle. Jason and Courtney realized Ric was playing games with Sonny. Carly and Jason feared that Sonny was on the verge of a breakdown. Alexis went to Sonny for help. Maxie planned to lose her virginity to Kyle in order to become popular. Lucas called Maxie a lying slut.
March 31 to April 4, 2003
Georgie made Kyle look foolish in front of his friends. Courtney and Jason staged a public breakup. Sonny demanded Ned to reveal Faith's partner. Ric shot Faith. Jason returned to work for Sonny. Edward reneged on his agreement with A.J., prompting A.J. and Skye to get even by kidnapping Kristina. Alexis kidnapped Kristina from A.J. and Skye. Nikolas agreed to help Alexis get out of the country. Carly fell through the ice rescuing Michael. Sonny and Carly worried about the fate of the baby. Emily returned to town.

Ric convinced Sonny that Jax was Faith's partner, Jason, however was not convinced. Sonny called for a meeting of the families. Nikolas and Lucky had a fist fight that resulted in Nikolas being hospitalized. Zander and Emily brought medicine to Kristina. Emily assured Ned that Kristina was okay. Luke and Lucky learned that Summer was working for Nikolas. Cameron claimed he killed Pete.

Courtney punched Faith. Faith kissed Courtney. Faith shot at Jason and Courtney as they hid in her closet. Courtney questioned Coleman about Carly's condition the night she supposedly slept with Ric. Ric gave Coleman a pay off. Ric provided Jason with an alibi for the killing of Fowler. Ric and Elizabeth made love. Ned accused Alexis of kidnapping Kristina. Zander and Emily made love. Rae confessed to Skye that Alan was not Skye's father. Lila kicked Tracy out of the mansion. To protect his cover, Ric shot Faith. Ric held Courtney at gunpoint. Sonny learned what Ric did to Carly. Sonny held Faith hostage. Lucky, Luke and Summer fled Port Charles on the run. Carly received the DNA results for the baby's paternity. Monica discovered Emily has cancer.

Michael went to see A.J. at the Quartermaine mansion. Tracy left Dillon with the Qs. Elizabeth confronted Carly about her accusations regarding Ric. Luke, Lucky and Summer continued their search for Matthew. Ric told Sonny that they are brothers. Jason found Courtney and pull her to safety. Alexis was jealous when she saw Cameron eating dinner with another woman. Nikolas reported to Alexis that the Cassadines are having financial problems. Ric offered to help Scott bring Sonny down. Carly threatened to kill Ric after drugging him. Emily began pushing Zander away.

Sonny kept Carly from killing Ric. Courtney was hit by a car. Ric blackmailed Courtney. Dillon impressed Georgie when he blew of Kyle and his friends. Faith learned that Ric and Sonny are brothers. Monica scheduled Emily's surgery at a new hospital. Ric pleaded with Elizabeth to forgive him. Ric and Faith slept together. Luke, Lucky and Summer continued looking for Matthew. Summer admitted Matt was her ex-boyfriend not her brother. Alexis saw a judge to make changes in her therapy schedule and to request more time with Kristina.

Sony overheard Carly pressing Jason to propose to Courtney. Kyle broadcast himself and Maxie having sex on the school website. Alexis and Cameron fought while locked in a closet together. Elizabeth thought Rick was going to propose to her, he informed her that he is marrying Courtney. Courtney agreed to marry Ric. Faith set an exotic snake loose in Elizabeth's studio. Skye grew closer to Kristina. Alexis devised a plan to spend more time with Kristina. Zander was shocked to learn Emily was released from "rehab" so early. Emily bonded with "Dobson." Lucky protected Summer from Roberto. Jason held Ric at gunpoint.

Emily began chemotherapy. Elizabeth discovered that she was pregnant, so she and Ric decided to wed. Faith shoved Elizabeth down a steep flight of stairs. Jason proposed marriage to Courtney. Michael began to act out after Sonny's car was rigged with a bomb. Dillon gave Maxie a fake ID. Maxie overdosed at Carly's club. Jason promised Mac he would find out who was behind the drugs at the club. Alexis continued to pose as "Dobson."

Jason and Courtney announced their engagement to the Quartermaines. A.J. caused problems at Courtney's wedding shower. Sonny advised Luke to give up his vendetta. Zander confronted Nikolas about his feelings for Emily. Cameron offered to help Alexis. Dillon admitted to Maxie that he liked Georgie.

Emily continued to lie to Zander about her relationship with Nikolas. Stephan told Emily he would not allow her to become romantically involved with is nephew. Sonny and Jason became concerned when Ric offered Carly a ride home from Kelly's, sensing his plans for revenge against Sonny were not over. "Dobson" was almost caught on nanny-cam by A.J. and Skye. Ned demanded to speak with Dobson and Alexis together. Cameron helped Alexis cover. Lucky and Luke got into a fight after Luke accused Lucky of being a Cassadine and not a Spencer. Georgie was upset after she saw Lucas making out with Maxie during the prom. "Alcazar" returned.
June 9 to 13, 2003
Stefan planned to keep Emily away from Nikolas. Lydia is intrigued by Lucky. A pregnant Carly collapsed. When Carly awoke in the hospital she found Ric standing over her. Jason was arrested on drug charges. Luis Alcazar's brother Lorenzo made an offer to Ric to help him gain revenge against Sonny. Sonny welcomed Jason into his family. Luke held a knife to Cameron's throat. Cameron refused to release Luke from the hospital. Georgie was so upset over Lucas she missed the fact that Dillon really likes her.
June 16 to 20, 2003
Ric kidnapped Carly and held her hostage in his panic room. Elizabeth had a run in with Faith on the docks, when Faith accused Ric of kidnapping Carly. Stephan warned Emily to stay away from Nikolas. Emily and Nikolas announced their engagement. Lucky agreed to have Luke committed. Scott agreed to help Sonny search for Carly. Gia and Zander supported one another. Gia questioned Baldwin about her brother's whereabouts. Georgie and Dillon went for a thrill ride on a stolen motorcycle.
June 23 to 27, 2003
Stefan's hit men mistook Summer for Emily and killed her. Alexis suspected Emily was the real target in Summer's death. Scott believes Luke killed Summer. Luke left Port Charles for Switzerland. Ned and Skye grew closer. Gia warned Emily to come clean with Zander about her cancer, as Gia is developing deep feelings for Zander. Sonny planed to kidnap Elizabeth in exchange for Carly, but changed his mind when he realized it would make him just like Ric. Faith stole Ric's house keys and poisoned some lemonade that Elizabeth drank later. Mac arrested Faith. Courtney questioned Elizabeth about Carly's abduction. Emily attended a support group for survivors of breast cancer. The Feds took over Scott's case against Sonny.
June 30 to July 4, 2003
Jason was arrested for holding a gun on Ric. Ric dropped the charges against Jason as part of his truce with Sonny. Sonny announced that he was abandoning his search for Carly. Faith began posing as Sonny's mistress as part of an FBI sting to get Carly back. Faith announced she was moving into the penthouse. Ric paid the specialist who help Carly for telling Elizabeth she couldn't have children. Ric began planting the idea of adoption into Liz's head. Dillon further proved himself a bad boy to Georgie by pick pocketing Alcazar for soda money. Skye discovered Alexis is Dobson. Emily and Nikolas shared a passionate kiss.

July 7 to 11, 2003
Zander comforted Emily after she told him she has breast cancer. Gia understands when Zander tells her he is supporting Emily through her illness and they can only be friends. Dr. Meadows told Elizabeth that she could conceive normally and carry a baby to term. Skye overheard Alexis in a conversation with Cameron where she admitted to faking her DID in order to beat the murder charges she was facing for killing Alcazar. Edward ordered Dillon to stay away from Georgie Jones or be sent to military school. Alcazar took a picture of Carly, then tried to convince Sonny that she had left town. Baldwin's forensic team discovered the picture of Carly was taken recently and in Port Charles. Liz found Ric's panic room and Carly locked inside.
July 14 to 18, 2003
Elizabeth collapsed after discovering Carly in Ric's secret room. Ric learned Elizabeth had suffered an embolism caused by the birth control pills he had been slipping into her drinks. Ric considered killing Elizabeth but couldn't go through with it. Carly called Sonny to ask him to get her, telling him Ric was setting her free. Sonny and Jason arrived at Ric's house and discovered Ric knocked out and bleeding, and Carly gone. Skye and Scott trapped Alexis, who acted as Dobson, and she revealed her true identity and admitted both to faking her DID and to killing Alcazar. Ned bailed Dillon out of jail, where Edward had let him stay for the night. Georgie sympathized with Dillon when his mother, Tracy, blew him off. Zander agreed to step aside and let Nicholas be with Emily during her grief if it was what Emily wanted. Lucky kissed Lydia.
July 21 to 25, 2003
Nikolas told Emily he is in love with her. Emily decided she couldn't hurt Zander because she loves him, too. Sonny threw Ric down the stairs. Ned defended Alexis against Baldwin. Lydia and Lucky kissed again, Lydia slapped Lucky when she saw Nikolas in the room. Ric confessed everything to Elizabeth, she slapped him and stormed out. Carly was kidnapped by Alcazar. Sonny and Carly were briefly reunited.
July 28 to August 1, 2003
Carly went into premature labor aboard Alcazar's airplane. Zander told Cameron he was leaving town for good. Nikolas and Lydia got married. Gia and Zander slept together. Ric told Faith he was going to help Sonny get Carly back. Emily completed her first round of chemotherapy. Elizabeth told Faith she would never take Ric back. Courtney took a pregnancy test that turned out positive.

AUGUST 2003
August 4 to 8, 2003
Georgie and Dillon almost had sex. Maxie stole pills from the hospital and got high with Kyle. Edward was forced to hand Zander a big check when Zander completed the breast cancer walk twice in honor of Emily. Stephan threatened Lydia's life when he discovered she was seeking an annulment from Nikolas. Stephan dug up dirt about Ned's past, and put his scheme to help Alexis get Kristina back into action. Ric was shot defending Sonny against some of Alcazar's men, and later went into cardiac arrest. Elizabeth packed her things to leave Ric's house. Courtney was held hostage by Alcazar. Carly went into early labor.
August 11 to 15, 2003
Ned and Skye grew closer, bonding with Kristina as her parents. Alexis threatened to reveal the truth about who is Kristina's father if Ned didn't petition the court for her to get her daughter back. Emily's condition grew worse, and she was placed in a isolated environment to protect her immune system. Alcazar followed Carly around Port Charles, and at the hospital he told her that he missed her. Emily told Aubrey that she was leaving Port Charles now that she thought Ric was dead. Faith warned Ric that if Elizabeth found out he was still alive, she would turn him in. Ric revealed himself to Elizabeth as she prayed for him in the chapel. Jason helped Ric escape the hospital so that he could help them get Courtney back. Courtney was knocked unconscious when a lightning storm occurred hitting Alcazar's yacht. Courtney jumped overboard when Alcazar's men tried to capture her again.
August 18 to 22, 2003
Jason and Courtney reunited. Courtney refused to tell Jason about her pregnancy. Carly urged Sonny to let go of his hatred for Ric. Elizabeth saw Faith and Ric together. Jason confronted Alcazar about his suspicious that Alcazar had harmed Courtney. A diary was left on the Quartermaines' doorstep. Stefan arranged a meeting with Darius. Dillon's arrival prevented Jason from killing Alcazar. Emily developed meningitis. Skye secretly investigated Ned's past.
August 25 to 29, 2003
Jason told Courtney they should wait until they were married to have a baby. Courtney told Jason that she had been pregnant but had lost the baby. Emily developed meningitis. Zander proposed to Emily. Lydia assured Stefan she was getting closer to consummating her marriage to Nikolas, which would enable her to collect the inheritance. Ned made Dillon a job offer. Elizabeth served Ric with divorce papers.

Edward welcomed Zander into the family. Emily dreamed of Nikolas as she drifted off to sleep. Nikolas gave Emily a bracelet as a wedding gift. Stefan asserted that Lydia was the mastermind behind Summer's murder. Dillon and Georgie found a body floating in the water. Courtney discovered Elizabeth in Jason's arms. Courtney took too many pain pills. Jason learned that Stefan had borrowed millions of dollars from Alcazar. Ric told Courtney he was certain Elizabeth and Jason were having an affair. Elizabeth was struck by a car.
September 8 to 12, 2003
Faith is pleased to see an unconscious Liz lying on the ground after being hit by a car. Ric agrees to leave Liz, which prompts Liz to accuse him of having run her down. Kyle reveals that he saw a blonde woman hovering over Liz. Carly makes arrangements for Sonny to accompany her to Lamaze class to help make him feel more involved in her pregnancy. Carly meets with Alcazar and learns that a drugged Courtney hit Liz. Carly tries to push Courtney's car off of a cliff, but her coat gets caught in the door.
September 15 to 19, 2003
Alcazar saved Carly's life. Alexis found proof that Stephan killed Darius. Courtney questioned Alcazar about the night of Elizabeth's accident. Ric tried to rally Elizabeth's falling spirit. Emily called Nikolas for help during a power outage. Emily and Nikolas realized it wasn't safe for them to be alone together. Julian performed cosmetic surgery on a prostitute. Jason vowed to get to the bottom of Elizabeth's accident. Judge Farmer decided Kristina's fate. Elizabeth began to see shadows and light. Sonny discovered Lily's grave had been vandalized. Carly was hospitalized.
September 22 to 26, 2003
Dillon admitted he was a virgin, and he and Georgie decided to wait for another time to make love. Zander attacked Nikolas. Sonny feared he was losing his grip on reality. Emily and Zander returned to the cottage. Lydia moved in with Lucky. Cindy confessed to lying about the rape. A disguised Capelli accosted Emily on the docks and gave her a warning for Nikolas. Jason and Nikolas planned to kill Alcazar. Carly found Alcazar half-dead in the alley.
September 29 to October 3, 2003
When Sonny saw Lily he thought it was a sign that he was going to lose Carly and the baby the same way he lost Lily and their baby. Elizabeth forgives Courtney for hitting her with her car for Jason's sake. Nikolas confronted Stephan about his role in trying to murder Lorenzo and for killing Summer and attempting to murder Emily. Stephan refused to turn himself in resulting in a fight between he and Nikolas. Jax went to visit his father, who believes he is dying. Jax met Sam McCall. Ric agreed to get Stephan off of his murder charges. Georgie was upset by Faith's hitting on Dillon. Luke abducted Stephan with plans to put him on trial.

>: "Lily" warned Sonny that Carly and her unborn baby are in danger -- and that it is all his fault. Jason discovered "Lily's" footprints, leading him to believe that she's not a ghost, after all. Zander learned that Nikolas filed for divorce. Ric forced Scott to name him Assistant District Attorney. In France, Courtney accepted Jason's marriage proposal.
October 13 to 17, 2003
Jason and Courtney celebrated their marriage with Carly and Sonny in France. Alcazar sabotaged Sonny's private jet, not realizing Carly would be riding back with Sonny. After a safe landing Sonny still believed he was a danger to his family and decided to move in with Jason and Courtney temporarily. Marcella packed her bags to leave town. It was revealed that Johnny is working for Alcazar. Sonny realized he was being set up after "Lily" slipped up answering a question when he ran into her at the cemetery. Samantha announced to Jax that she would be moving in with him. A memorial service was held for Stefan, and everyone was shocked when Helena attended. Skye agreed to help Luke, who is on the run from the law for killing Stefan, because she believed he could be of help to her in the Kristina situation. After witnessing an argument between Skye and Ned, Jax questioned whether Ned was in love with Skye.
October 20 to 24, 2003
While at her new home a very pregnant Carly fell down the stairs, and went into labor. Courtney crashed her car while racing to get help for Carly. Jason and Sonny found Marcella who has been pretending to be "Lily," and she confessed to working for Alcazar. Sonny raced to save Carly from Alcazar and shot his enemy when he heard his wife screaming. As Sonny delivered their baby Carly lost consciousness and Sonny realized she had a bullet wound in her head. Edward made plans to send Dillon to military school, therefore Georgie and Dillon planned to have sex before Dillon's departure. Zander vowed to fight for his marriage. Jax tried to teach Sam how to be a lady. With Skye's help Luke found the ace of spades from the "Dead Man's Hand" at the Quartermaine mansion. Monica told Emily that her cancer is in remission. Georgie hid the remaining cards to the "dead man's hand" in her bedroom.
October 27 to 31, 2003
Jax offered to buy the Dead Man's Hand cards from both Dillon and Sam for a million dollars per card. Samantha claimed to have burned her playing cards because of all of the pain they had caused her family, Jax warned her that his father's death would be on her head if he dies. Skye raised Jax's suspicions about Sam's truthfulness. Ric is thrilled by the possibility that he and Elizabeth may reconcile when she invites him to the Halloween ball. Jason and Courtney cared for Carly and Sonny's baby "Morgan." Courtney feared she wouldn't make a good mother. While still in a coma, Carly had a dream that she met Lorenzo Alcazar when she first arrived in town. Faith informed Sonny that all the leaders of the five families were now dead, including Jason, and that she now ran the territory. Jason was shot, but it is revealed later that he was wearing a bullet proof vest.

Zander was crushed when he saw Emily and Nikolas making love. Faith wanted to use Nikolas's new ship to transport drugs. A doctor said that Carly's brain activity increased whenever Alcazar was visiting. Courtney settled in her new house. Courtney and Brian shared an easy rapport. Dillon turned to Luke for advice on retrieving the cards. Ned relinquished custody of Kristina to Alexis. A teenager stalked Alexis with a gun. Sam stowed away in Jax's vehicle.
November 10 to 14, 2003
Carly awoke from her coma and Sonny explained how he accidentally shot her. Carly ordered Alcazar to leave her room. Brian kissed Courtney. Jax blamed Sam for his father's death and banished her from John's funeral. Alcazar hired Dillon to be Sage's bodyguard. On Faith's orders, Zander beat up Nikolas. Georgie learned that Sage is Alcazar's niece.
November 17 to 21, 2003
Sonny pressed Carly to remember the love she feels for her family. Alcazar kissed Carly. Carly returned to the penthouse, but hid to avoid seeing Sonny and Michael. Nikolas and Emily discovered a bomb. Tracy told Jax she was planning to open a casino. Jax began to romance Sam as part of his plan to destroy her. Georgie got a makeover. Dillon was turned on by Sage, and Sage picked a fight with Georgie. Jason destroyed Faith's drug shipment. Jason feared Courtney was becoming too attached to Michael and Morgan. Brian told Courtney he was offered a job with the Port Charles police department. Luke was stunned to see the Haunted Star in the harbor.
November 24 to 28, 2003
Sonny took Carly and the children to an island, and she confessed her true feelings to him. Sam gave her cards to a homeless man, while Jax continued his plan of revenge against her. Brian questioned Courtney about Jason. Elizabeth went on a date with Ric.

DECEMBER 2003
December 1 to 5, 2003
Jason gave Carly a cold, hard dose of reality, warning her that he was not sure that Sonny would be able to forgive her for contacting Alcazar. Sam convinced Sonny that Carly had only been doing what she had thought she'd needed to do to keep him safe. Carly refused to accept Sonny's apology, even when he placed the blame for the downfall of their marriage on himself. Brian shot an unarmed Sonny. When Sonny told his wife that he was ready to die, she talked him into turning himself in to the police. Scott ordered Capelli to do whatever was necessary to get Sonny to incriminate himself. Carly pleaded with Alcazar not to testify against Sonny, while Sonny admitted to Ric that he had kidnapped Sam in order to vindicate her. Sonny told Carly that he would do everything in his power to make her love him again. Carly told Jason about her visit with Alcazar and request to keep Sonny from going to jail. Sonny turned down any help from Alcazar and instead told Jason to find a ruthless attorney to represent him. At the same time, Justus Ward took his vow of silence at a monastery. Carly was adamant that she would find a way to keep Sonny out of prison. Learning that Sonny was supposed to be transferred to a small cell that would cause him to have a claustrophobic episode, Courtney told Brian that Scott was trying to torture Sonny. Scott flew off the handle when Brian suggested that Scott postpone the move.
December 8 to 12, 2003
Scott told Justus and Jason that he planned to try Sonny in absentia. Brian warned Courtney and Scott that he would petition the court to have Michael and Morgan taken away from Sonny and Carly. Carly was unable to remember her love for Sonny. Georgie kept her promise to Tracy and broke up with Dillon and later walks in on Sage and Dillon having sex. Nikolas learned that he was bankrupt as Alexis put Wyndemere up for sale and Sam found a diamond tiara on Nikolas' freighter.
December 15 to 19, 2003
Courtney admitted to Carly she has misgivings about Jason's lifestyle. Brian comforted Courtney. Sage enrolled at Georgie and Dillon's high school; Skye and Luke kissed under the mistletoe. Carly made it clear to Alcazar that she loves Sonny, not him. Faith had Courtney arrested. Alexis hired Cody to work as a butler. While delirious Sam mentions the sunken Courage. Nikolas told Jax and Sam that the sunken treasure belonged to him. Jason and Courtney agreed to be Morgan's godparents. Alcazar vowed to control Port Charles. Faith was shocked to discover she had hijacked a truckload of toys from Sonny. Maxie set Georgie up on a blind date. Elizabeth told Ric she was pregnant. An anonymous note prompted Ric to ask Elizabeth about the paternity of the baby.
December 22 to 26, 2003
Luke saw Stavros' ghost. Sage picked a fight with Georgie. Jason refused to talk to Courtney. Courtney agreed to go the opening of Luke's casino with Brian. A masked man pulled Carly into a kiss. Cameron played Santa Clause. Nikolas presented Emily with a diamond ring. Cody placed explosives on Nikolas' freighter. Elizabeth and Ric told Zander everything. Alcazar's henchmen stormed the Haunted Star. Three spirits visited Luke and he woke up a changed man on Christmas morning.
December 29, 2003 to January 2, 2004
Scott accused Sonny of robbing the casino. Sam told Tracy that someone took he sunken treasure, then she hitched a ride aboard one of Sonny's planes. Sonny agreed to fly Sam to an airstrip for a cut of the stolen treasure. Zander's coldness dismayed Emily. Emily was knocked unconscious. Carly experienced a flash of blinding light. Cody met with a man who agreed to move his stolen goods. Georgie tried speed dating with disastrous results. Dillon raced to be with Georgie, but ended up ringing in the New Year with Sage instead. Jason and Courtney kissed. Brian told Courtney about his late wife and son. Ben pulled a gun on Jax.
