If you thought you were already addicted to social media, wait until you check out the brand new app conceived, developed, and designed by The Young and the Restless' Bryton James (Devon Hamilton) and Daniel Goddard (ex-Cane Ashby). Called Bildbord, it's a social media platform made especially for soap opera fans.
"From all the years I've spent meeting soap fans, I realized how many friendships and relationships have been made between them," Goddard tells Soap Opera Digest of the app, which launched today. "I wanted to find a way to bring the fans together as one group so they could share their individual love for the soap genre, the shows, the characters and the actors. So, Bryton and I decided to build an app that would unite soap fans from all over the world."
One of the fun things about Bildbord is that it connects soap opera fans who not only share a love of the genre, but who also share other commonalities. The app gives users the ability to create a profile where they can not only list all of their social media accounts, music playlists and photos, but also add up to 50 hashtags that will connect members globally with any of those hashtags in common.

Fans can also check out the live launch of Bildbord today at 12PM PT/3PM ET on Daniel Goddard's Facebook page. Goddard and James will be personally demonstrating how to download, set up, and use the Bildbord app.
