The Young and the Restless has given viewers a taste of Cait Fairbanks' vocal talents, but the actress who plays Tessa Porter is giving fans even more this week with the release of a new, original song. However, don't expect to find the brand new tune under her stage name.
Fairbanks took to social media to tease the release of her latest single, which is scheduled to drop on Friday, November 16. And she reveals that she is going by the name of "Ginesse" with this go-around in the music world.
"I'm releasing music!! The first song comes out November 16th and it will be under the name 'Ginesse,'" she writes, adding: "I'm so incredibly nervous. It's been a while in the making and it's been such a collaborative process so general thanks to @mrmatiasmora @mia_pants @thecarysinger @MrOfford."

Fairbanks has a strong musical background, having been performing in various stage productions since she was eight years old. She's also a singer/songwriter whose music can be found on her official Soundcloud page.
The actress took on the role of Tessa, initially described as an "upbeat, free-spirited singer with a strong intuition about people," in the spring of 2017. In addition to Y&R, Fairbanks' television credits include Two and a Half Men and K.C. and the Underground.
