When the 51st Annual Daytime Emmy awards are handed out on June 7, you'll see two familiar faces performing hosting duties as Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner once again emcee the festivities. Frazier and Turner are also nominees for Outstanding Daytime Personality.
The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences also announced this year's three Gold Circle inductees. Jerome Dobson, who co-created Santa Barbara with his late wife, Bridget, is one inductee. Dobson also served on the writing teams of Guiding Light, As the World Turns, and General Hospital.
A Martinez, who came to daytime fame as Cruz Castillo on Santa Barbara, will also be inducted. In addition to his Emmy-winning role as Cruz, Martinez played Roy DeLuca on General Hospital and Eduardo Hernandez on Days of our Lives. Martinez also played Nardo Ramos on the digital soap The Bay.
Days of our Lives' Suzanne Rogers is the third Gold Circle inductee. Rogers celebrated 50 years on DAYS in 2023 and took home a Daytime Emmy in 1979 in the Outstanding Supporting Actress category.
Inductees for the Daytime Emmy Silver Circle include:
Patricia Denney, former Hair and Makeup Department Head for The Young and The Restless
Kathleen Finch, Chairman and CEO, US Networks, and Warner Brothers Discovery
Linda Grand, Set Master Props for The Bold and The Beautiful
