The world will need plenty of Christmas cheer this season, and Days of our Lives favorite Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady) is set to deliver it. The actress shares that she is currently working on a new Hallmark holiday film.
Sweeney took to Instagram to reveal that she has begun the process of shooting the Christmas project, which starts with a quarantine before she's allowed on set. Lucky for the actress, she's quarantining in a house that has a gorgeous garden she's able to enjoy.
"Loving my temporary Quarantine Home! The owners were so generous as to share their beautiful garden with me and I am making the most of it!" captioned her photo. "But very excited to get going on my @hallmarkchannel Christmas movie!! Funny to be working on a Christmas script in the warm summer sun."
Sweeney is no stranger to holiday films. She appeared in 2015's Murder She Baked: A Plum Pudding Mystery, 2017's Christmas at Holly Lodge, and last year's Time for You to Come Home for Christmas. Her upcoming holiday movie is expected to be released this Christmas season, but further details remain scarce at this time.
As her fans know, Sweeney is currently appearing in a DAYS storyline revolving around Allie Horton's (Lindsay Arnold) baby. She's set to exit the canvas soon but will be returning before the end of the year for an extended storyline that DAYS' executive producer Ken Corday teased centers around family. That story will keep Sweeney and her alter ego on-screen through most of 2021.
