The entire gaming world is buzzing about the exciting new Playstation 4 game Ghost of Tsushima, a visually stunning new adventure that features Days of our Lives alum Christopher Sean (ex-Paul Narita).
The game, which was released on July 17, begins in the year 1274, when a Mongolian invasion fleet led by Khotun Khan lands on the Japanese island of Tsushima. The player assumes the role of Jin, who joins with the rest of the island's local samurai, led by his uncle Lord Shimura, in an attempt to repel the invasion. However, the battle ends in disaster, with the entire samurai army killed, Lord Shimura captured, and Jin grievously wounded and left for dead. Jin is found and nursed back to health by Yuna, a local thief, who informs him that most of Tsushima has already fallen to the Mongols. Jin then attempts to storm Khotun's stronghold at Castle Kaneda in an attempt to rescue Lord Shimura, but is unable to defeat Khotun in combat and is thrown from a bridge. Realizing that he cannot defeat the Mongols by himself or with the traditional samurai fighting style, Jin begins scouring the island to recruit allies and learn new fighting techniques to aid in his quest to rescue Lord Shimura.
"Honored to announce that I was a part of this genius huge new project!" Sean shares on Instagram. "I play Emanjiro and really enjoyed working with the team at Sucker Punch!! I hope you all get to enjoy the beauty of this production. It's absolutely gorgeous and based off of historical events!"
Sean also gives a shout out to the game's casting director, Ivy Isenberg, for giving him a chance and the game's voice director, Amanda Wyatt, "for believing in me. Seriously respect her talent and ability so, so much as a director."
Sean made his DAYS debut in 2014 and quickly became a fan favorite in the role of Paul. He opted not to renew his contract with the NBC soap opera and last aired during the holiday season of 2018. Since checking out of Salem, Sean has been voicing the role of Kazuda Xiono in the animated series Star Wars Resistance. He is also rumored to be voicing a character in the upcoming video game Blue Jacket, Red Coat by Kevin Tran.
