The daytime community is sending love and light to Adrienne Frantz (ex-Amber Moore, The Bold and the Beautiful/The Young and the Restless) and Scott Bailey (ex-Sandy Foster, Guiding Light), whose newborn baby is in the hospital with a high fever.
In a post made to Instagram, Frantz shared, "Nothing like being in the hospital with your newborn. He has been up all night with a really high fever for an 11 week old. Say some prayers for little Killian."
Several hours later, the exhausted mom checked in with a photo and an update to let fans know that despite the stressful events of the evening, Killian was still smiling -- which, as can be seen from the heartbreaking photo Frantz shared -- is a feat, because the tiny baby had to have his entire arm bandaged for the I.V.
"We are still in the ER waiting on more test results," Frantz shared. "Little Killian was so brave for his IV. He loves when mommy sings the Beatles to him, and a nurse put sugar water on a binki, so he tasted sugar for the first time! I love this kid so much! I hope he is ok!"
Poor Killian's life has been rather tough since his birth earlier this spring. Frantz shared that there were complications during his delivery, and once they returned home from the hospital, the family caught a mild sickness from their firstborn.
"It's been a tough couple of weeks," the actress posted at the time. "I had some complications & Amélie brought a bug home from school! You don't know what it's like to be a mother of 3 until you have 3 sick babies!"
Fortunately, Killian (and his sister, Amélie, and brother, Lion) have two loving parents who would do anything to keep him safe and happy. As Frantz shared a few weeks ago on Instagram, "I have the most amazing job in the world! I get to be mom to these wonderful babies! Which means unconditional undying love! We have had a hard few weeks without sleep adjusting to our new addition but I wouldn't change it for the world! I love them so much!"
UPDATE (May 25, 2022): On Tuesday, May 24, Frantz updated her son's condition. "After 12 lovely hours at Cedars-Sinai yesterday leaving with only the results of a super high white blood count, we are back at the doctors again today! More fevers last night and today. I hope he gets better soon!!"
Frantz has yet to share any more updates about Killian's condition, but Soap Central will let you know if and when she does. In the meantime, you can share your thoughts and well wishes with the Frantz/Bailey family in our Comments section below.
