Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful were surprised to hear that longtime star Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan) was headed to Greece to do a guest-starring arc on the show 8 Lexeis, and it looks like the international soap opera is repaying the favor. Andreas Georgiou, who stars on and directs 8 Lexeis, has come to B&B.
Georgiou took to social media with news of his trip to Los Angeles, sharing various photos of himself that include one of him outside the CBS studios, another of him chatting with B&B icon John McCook (Eric Forrester), and another in which he's having dinner in Beverly Hills with Lang.
Jennifer Gareis (Donna Logan) also posted a group photo from the set that includes Georgiou and other B&B cast members.
As Georgiou is known both as an actor and a director, it's unclear if B&B fans will see the Greek star on-screen or if he's just lending a hand to the CBS series behind the scenes in the director's chair. Keep checking back to Soap Central for updates as they come.
As for Lang, the actress traveled to Greece during the week B&B went dark in October and filmed her arc for 8 Lexeis, which she teased was the role of an American journalist who gets involved with some political intrigue and romance.
"I've seen the show, and it's incredible!" Lang enthused. "[It has] a lot of talented people, and the show looks amazing... I am thrilled and so grateful."
UPDATE: Though it was originally unclear if Andreas Georgiou's B&B stint had him in the role of actor or director, Soap Central can now confirm that the Greek entertainer will indeed be appearing on-screen at the CBS soap opera. Viewers can look forward to seeing him on Friday, January 24, Monday, January 27, and Tuesday, January 28. Those dates are subject to change based on preemptions.
