Sean Kanan (Deacon Sharpe) is headed back to The Bold and the Beautiful after a seven-year break from the show.
While Deacon hasn't been seen in Los Angeles for quite some time, that hasn't meant that he's been completely out of sight. Kanan took his B&B role to the show's sister soap, The Young and the Restless, in July 2009. Kanan remained with Y&R off-and-on through early 2012.
In his return to B&B, it would appear that Kanan's alter ego will be up to his old shenanigans. TVGuide reports that "Deacon will be in cahoots with meddling patriarch Bill Spencer who will try to use him to destroy the star-crossed romance of Liam and Hope."
In addition to playing Deacon on The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless, Kanan appeared as General Hospital's A.J. Quartermaine, and as Jude Cavenaugh on Sunset Beach.
It is unclear at this time exactly how long Kanan's Deacon will be sticking around. The actor, however, makes his return to The Bold and the Beautiful beginning May 24.
